Shelton Interactive

Tiffany-BShelton Interactive is nothing without its team members. In this continuing series, we will showcase the individuals who make up our company. In today’s profile, we’re excited to spotlight Tiffany Ballard.

Tiffany Ballard is a senior publicist and has been with Shelton Interactive since 2014. Since her start at Shelton, she has been a part of dozens of publicity campaigns and has worked on bestsellers including Do Over by Jon Acuff and The Power Score by Alan Foster, Geoff Smart and Randy Street, and has partnered with top publishers like Portfolio, Crown Business and Hachette Books.

Before joining the Shelton Interactive team she worked in event design and planning. She has an eye for detail and relishes the opportunity to be creative. She is a self-proclaimed brunch-aholic and is determined to try all that Austin has to offer in this department. Tiffany is a graduate from Belmont University with a Bachelor of Science in public relations and marketing. Great to have you on the team Tiff!

What do you do at Shelton Interactive?

I’m a publicist. I help to generate media attention on behalf of my clients.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

All of it. 🙂

Where are you from?

Odessa, Texas!

What is the first question people ask when you say you’re from Odessa?

“Oh! Like in Friday Night Lights?” If they’re not familiar with the show or movie, it’s usually “Hmmm, where’s that?”

Where is your favorite place to hang out in Austin?

Rainey Street is probably my favorite Sunday Funday hangout. It’s laidback and you can be outdoors with plenty of food and drink options around.  You really can’t go wrong there.

Tell us about your furry friend! (Pictures please!)

Ruby is my labradoodle and she’s a handful! My advice to anyone thinking about getting a puppy is to just not! But, really, she’s awesome – I am looking forward to her old age though. Oh, and she loves when I force her into a selfie with me.

What is your favorite #TBT moment at Shelton Interactive?

Ugh, there are so many good moments from working at Shelton – from  my first confetti bomb experience to our summer party barge excursion, but I think my favorite #TBT moment was on our Christmas wine tour a couple years ago. We were about three wineries in and everyone started to make speeches – ahem, Brandon Procell. It’s really cool to see how much we love working together and how close we’ve become over the years.
